Plato
Meet Plato, a mysterious extra-terrestrial residing on Mikinaak Island. Belonging to an unknown species, Plato was discovered as a baby and raised by the Skillipeas as one of their own. As Plato matured, they developed exceptional skills as both a gardener and a warrior. Each day Plato tends to their lush gardens, harvesting a variety of fruits, vegetables, and medical herbs, providing food and medicine to the creatures of the island.
The Skillipeas
Skillipeas are kindhearted creatures with tough skin and hard, buoyant shells. They live mostly on land but can hold their breath underwater for up to seven hours. They are the most prevalent species on earth living harmoniously with one another.
Plato
Plato is the only living loam on earth. Loams are the native inhabitants of earths first moon. Plato crash-landed on earths beaches many years ago as a child and was taken in and raised by the skillipeas.
Paus
The paus is a large water mamal that evolved symbiotically with the skillipeas. When a skillipea lays an egg that egg can stay dormant for up to 1000 years, in order for it to hatch it must be put in very specific conditions. This is by design in order to preserve skillipea life through cataclysmic events. After the meteor struck earth all that was left of skillipeas were dormant eggs in the bottom of the ocean that lay unhatched until they were eaten by these whales. The consumption of these eggs provided the perfect conditions for them to hatch. The relationship between the paus and the skillipea is interdependent and inseparable.
The Philo's
The Philo's are tiny little happy creatures that just want to dance and groove. They are a species of sentient mushrooms and they have very poor self preservation skills. They will always follow the sound of music. The droppings of these creatures contains a spore that can be grown into a psychedelic healing mushroom that is commonly consumed among skillipeas. These properties have lead to many problems for the innocent creatures including criminalization and persecution of the species on the moon, as well as black market exploitation. On earth however philos are protected respected and live harmonious happy lives.
Meet the skillipeas
Luke
Luke is a guitarist and friend of all creatures. Luke has been fascinated with the ancient human instrument since childhood. He has a brother named Skip. They grew up wayyy up in the glacier waters. One morning when carving an ice fishing hole they discovered a guitar frozen in the ice and spent countless evenings together learning to play the instrument and writing new songs.
Fisherman Joe
Joe is a fisherman who wakes up before the sun comes up every morning and catches fish to share with the village. He is the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and is treasured, loved, and respected among the village.
Wassily
Wassily is a little painter with a big imagination.
Domnik
Domnik is an adventurous and musical skillipea who enjoys rock climbing and playing the flute. He helps Plato in plating exotic fruit trees throughout the island with the help of the blue jays.
Mikala
You can often find Mikala paddleboarding around the island or swimming around making friends underwater.
Luna and Sol
Luna is a nurturing new mother who is joyfully showing baby Sol the beauty the world holds.
